Facility Officer – 26K


 Summary:

Our client is an international conglomerate company. They are currently seeking for a Facility Officer in their manufacturing plant in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine facilities management to the whole manufacturing plant including logistics centre, carpark and public area
  • Carry out repair and maintenance works to upkeep all the building assets and facilities in safety and proper tenable condition
  • Monitor the progress/quality of work performed by in-house staff and contractors as well as report defects/irregularities
  • Perform facility and equipment performance assessment and give recommendations on repairing or replacement and parts inventory control in cost effective ways
  • Ensure all the periodical checking and testing; necessary licensing and certifications are renewed on time to meet statutory requirements
  • Ensure works are compliance with the company’s policy and standards including health & safety work practices
  • Provide engineering supports and immediate attendance in any ad hoc or emergency repair and maintenance work to avoid any business interruptions;
  • Assist renovation project carried out effectively and efficiently in irregular hours; assist and conduct periodically survey on facility service performance with relevant operation partners and develop enhancement plan accordingly;

Requirements:

  • Recognized Higher Diploma/Higher Certificate/Certificate in Building Services Engineering/Civil Engineering/Facilities Management or any other related disciplines with minimum 4 years working experience in R&M with facility management in large property or building management office or manufacturing plant
  • Certificate of registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A or above is a must
  • Broad working knowledge of the relevant discipline in facilities management industry
  • (g) Sound knowledge of office computer software including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in using other computer software such as AutoCAD being an advantage
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A good team player, detail-minded and result oriented
