Job description
Our client is a globally renowned brand, operating in over 50 markets. They are looking for a seasoned Regulatory Affairs Manager for their Food and Beverage division to drive compliance and policy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
- Maintain ongoing communication with local and international regulatory authorities.
- Clarify and interpret new food regulations.
- Stay current on laws and guidelines, ensuring compliance with labelling requirements for ASEAN and North American markets.
Policy Development:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements, covering labelling, ingredient approvals, and product registrations.
- Prepare documents such as product labels and declaration letters.
- Manage the import registration process and monitor health and scientific research developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 10 years in regulatory affairs within the food and beverage industry in ASEAN markets.
- Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, food labelling requirements, and food safety standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
