Position Overview: A leading financial services group is on the lookout for a seasoned Company Secretarial professional to join its esteemed Legal and Corporate Secretarial Team in the Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing the corporate governance framework and supporting the company's growth and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive company secretarial support on corporate governance issues for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Organize Board and Board Committee meetings, including drafting agendas, preparing meeting documents, minutes and resolutions.
- Maintain accurate statutory records and registers, ensuring adherence to relevant legal requirements.
- Handle filings with regulatory bodies and government departments in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties, as well as regulatory authorities, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in corporate governance, law, accounting, or a related field.
- A Chartered Secretary.
- Over 8 years of experience in a company secretarial roles within sizable financial institutions, Hong Kong listed companies, or major professional services firms.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in Companies Ordinance and Hong Kong Listing Rules.
- Proficiency in minute-taking for Board/Board Committee meetings.
