Job description
An exciting Technical Business Analyst role has opened up with a leading foreign investment bank in their regional IT Solutions team.
The Technical BA will play an integral role in developing Data solutions for the bank's regulatory reporting & financial reporting operations. There will be ample opportunities and exposure to Data related projects (automation, modelling, data warehouse) in an evolving ecosystem. This role will be ideal for candidates looking to further their career in the corporate & investment banking.
Job Duties:
- Develop data modelling & automation solutions under existing framework (Java, OracleDB, Python)
- Incorporate data solutions into existing systems and database
- Manage projects and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery & deployment of solutions
- Conduct UAT, SIT, Change Management & Incident review
- Work closely with development team on architectural design
- Provide Tier 2 & 3 support to developed reporting systems
- Provide recommendations for new technologies integration
The Candidate:
- Degree holder in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, MIS, Data etc.)
- At least 8 years of experience in a Technical BA/ Development role with a sizeable finance services organisation.
- Regional exposure in previous roles
- Hands on experience in Java, Oracle DB, Python, Power BI, SQL
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data automation, data warehouse
- Prior experience in developing solutions for regulatory reporting/ risk reporting/ financial reporting would be an added advantage
- Relevant certifications in Finance, PMP, Agile, Scrum, Power BI would be beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, with fluency in Mandarin/ Cantonese as a plus
