Job description
Our client is a leading Global Hedge Fund. To cope with ongoing business expansion, they are looking for an Trade Support team member here in Hong Kong. The candidate would provide ongoing support to trading systems and conduct enhancement development.
Job Duties:
- Provide application support and production support to trading systems across asset classes
- System deployment and heath checks
- Work with end-users and vendors in solving production issues and incident handling
- Gather requirements and feedback and devise enhancement plan
- Project management & manage various internal & external stakeholders
- Drive automation and ensure ongoing business continuity
The Candidate:
- Degree holder in related areas
- At least 5 years of experience in a trading application support role with a financial institution
- Strong UNIX, LINUX, Shell Scripting, Database languages
- Working knowledge of FIX, KDB
- Experience in managing projects and providing support to trading/ derivatives/ equities/ securities/ brokerage systems
- Good knowledge of asset classes and financial trading
- Strong language and interpersonal skills
- Ability to cope with fast paced environment & perform on autonomy
