Head of General Trade/General Trade Sales Manager - (FMCG/ Pharmaceutical)


Our client is a global listed consumer company. Due to internal movements they are currently hiring a seasoned sales professional to lead a sizable team in Hong Kong.  This role is ideal for candidates who are looking for a challenging yet stable role and organisation.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the overall business includes but not limited to budgets, customer terms and profitability for the assigned accounts
  • Responsible for all sales activities including customer business planning, new product introduction and promotion
  • Lead the sales team in order to develop strong relationships with the new/existing clients and motivate them to develop new business opportunities
  • Plan and manage  channel/ sales strategies, manage both GT and KA
  • Maximize the exposure to the potential market and identify new business opportunities by developing strategic partnerships
  • Manage a team of 10+  including field sales and Key Accounts.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder
  • 10+ Year experience in FMCG sector
  • Strong track record in GT accounts (Department stores, pharmacist, individual stores etc.)
  • Key Account (Modern Trade) experience will be a plus
  • Solid Team management experience, able to motivate , train and lead
  • Hands-on, Social, good time management
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Manager role
