Job description
A renowned listed company with a global presence is seeking to hire an IP Paralegal. As a member of the legal team reporting to the Head of Legal, this role involves protecting, registering, enhancing, and managing the IP portfolio of trademarks and designs across various Asian markets. Additionally, it provides support to some of the company’s global operations and assists the broader legal functions.
Job duties:
As a team member to deliver high quality IP legal services.
Assisting in all aspects of IP matters including trademark portfolio management, protection, registration, enhancement etc.
Reviewing and approving new or renovated products and advertising and marketing materials.
Managing and liaising with external agents and counsel.
The ideal candidate will have:
A law degree (highly preferred) with a minimum of 3 years of prior experience.
Experience in a law firm or in-house with large multi-jurisdiction trademark portfolios.
A good working knowledge of trademark law and practice.
Good computer skills, including trademark maintenance database software, word processing, and Excel.
