Our client is a leading corporation in Hong Kong, celebrated for its innovative projects and commitment to sustainable development. It is currently seeking a skilled M&A Lawyer to join its highly regarded and sizeable legal team to support their ambitious expansion plans.
Role Summary: As an M&A Lawyer, you will be pivotal in supporting mergers, acquisitions, financing, restructuring, and other strategic transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
- Conduct due diligence and draft and negotiate transaction documents.
- Work closely with stakeholders, offering legal advice and support to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Provide regulatory and compliance support concerning corporate transactions and commercial activities.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Manage external counsels.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of PQE in corporate law. In-house experience preferred.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and Mandarin is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to interact with individuals at all levels.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to understand the bigger picture.
