About the Role:

  1. Brand Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth in the Japanese market.
    • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for brand growth.
    • Define brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition tailored to the Japanese audience.
  2. Marketing Campaigns:
    • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and in-store promotions.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing materials that resonate with the Japanese audience.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
  3. Product Launches:
    • Lead the planning and execution of product launches in the Japanese market, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market demand.
    • Work closely with the product development team to ensure that new products meet the needs and preferences of Japanese consumers.
  4. Partnerships and Collaborations:
    • Identify and establish partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and other brands to enhance brand visibility and credibility in Japan.
    • Negotiate and manage collaborations that align with the brand's values and objectives.
  5. Retail Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the retail team to ensure consistent brand representation across all retail channels, including e-commerce and physical stores.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the in-store customer experience, ensuring it reflects the brand's identity and values.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Manage the brand's marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
    • Track and report on budget performance, making adjustments as necessary.
  7. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve brand objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.



About the Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role within the fashion retail industry.
  • Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese market, consumer behavior, and fashion trends.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and branding.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
