Job description
Our client, a leading investment banking group, is looking for an Associate/AVP, Control Room for their expanding team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating watch lists and restricted lists.
- Monitor transactions and communications for compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of Chinese Wall policies.
- Conduct conflict of interest analyses and assist in resolving potential issues.
- Collaborate with senior compliance staff on M&A deals and other complex transactions.
- Prepare reports and documentation for compliance reviews and audits.
- Serve as a resource for compliance inquiries and training for staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with compliance software is a plu
