VP - Global Credit Analyst - Structured Finance - Foreign Bank

Job description

Our client is a foreign corporate bank seeking a VP - Global Credit Analyst - Structured Finance. This credit role primarily focuses on non-recourse loans, including structured finance, specialized products.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess credit applications prepared by the front office, and develop well-founded recommendations for timely approval from the relevant authorities.
• Remain vigilant and attentive to the creditworthiness of clients and market conditions, providing guidance to related departments on appropriate credit-related measures as needed.
• Conduct credit analysis for existing customers, along with industry and market research, to ensure the bank's asset portfolio remains healthy.
• Identify potential credit risks associated with customers and offer insights and recommendations to management.
• Respond to inquiries from other departments, head office, or regulatory bodies on related matters as necessary.
• Manage ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate lending or credit analysis / credit risk management, primarily in the mainland China and Hong Kong markets.
• Knowledgeable about various corporate finance options, including structured finance such as property finance, project finance, and leveraged buyouts (LBO).
• Detail-oriented, independent, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Skilled in using PC and Microsoft Office applications.
