Emily Xiao

Graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Degree in International Journalism, Emily started her career as professional HR recruiter in 2010.

Emily specialises in recruiting mid to senior level HR professionals.  She has experience setting up HR recruitment teams with some of the leading contingency recruitment firms in Southern China. Emily also has executive search experience with Korn Ferry South China office focusing on C-suite level recruitment for both international and local companies.

Prior to joining Charterhouse, Emily worked with KPMG in China to develop their recruitment business in Strategic Talent consulting from scratch and gained good experience in influencing leadership team of privately-owned top tier companies in China.

Emily has 3 years’ experience running a start-up recruitment firm in Shenzhen where she successfully built a team from 5 to 22 consultants and was recognized as one of the most trusted and reliable manufacturing sector recruitment agencies in Southern China. Emily’s aim to become the most trusted HR recruiter in Hong Kong soon!

When she is not busy with work, Emily spends most of her time chasing after her energetic 3 year old little boy!
