Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee our travel retail operations in Greater China. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the travel retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in the travel retail segment.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities within the travel retail sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel retail partners, including airports, airlines, and duty-free operators.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure optimal performance.
- Plan and execute promotional activities and events to enhance brand visibility and drive product sales.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and optimal execution of sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the travel retail or luxury beauty industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Experienced in handling travel retail key accounts - HK, Macau, China, Taiwan
- Strong understanding of the Greater China market and consumer behavior in the travel retail space.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
