About the Role: Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will perform the following key duties:
Responsibilities:
- Manage company secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory registers and records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Support board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.
- Provide guidance on company law and governance matters.
- Handle filings with regulatory bodies and government departments in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification as a company secretary is required.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of company law and corporate governance practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
