Job description
A leading financial services group offering a diverse range of products is looking for an experienced compliance professional to strengthen its compliance assurance function. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a keen eye for identifying regulatory risks and implementing robust control frameworks that uphold operational integrity and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead risk-based compliance monitoring programs to ensure alignment with policies and regulatory expectations.
- Analyze compliance assessment findings and recommend strategic solutions to mitigate risks.
- Conduct targeted reviews based on structured plans and leadership requests.
- Assess the effectiveness of the compliance control framework, identify gaps, and suggest actionable improvements.
- Partner with internal teams to drive the successful implementation of compliance measures post-review.
- Support resolution of compliance-related concerns stemming from internal audits or regulatory inspections.
- Prepare insightful reports for senior management, outlining compliance status and key recommendations.
- Assist with investigative projects and escalate critical compliance issues promptly.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with professional certifications such as CPA.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Independent, analytical, and capable of performing under pressure.
