Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking to hire a Legal Secretary for their Corporate group. The firm is known for its strong commitment to career development and a supportive, less formal environment.
The Legal Secretary will primarily support the Managing Partner of the firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing secretarial and administrative support
- Acting as a gatekeeper to fee earners and assisting clients with queries
- Managing documents and the database, assisting in editing and formatting documents
- Collaborating with other secretaries and departments
- Delegating tasks where appropriate
The successful candidate will have prior legal secretarial experience in an international law firm and will possess the following:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong team player, highly organized, with experience meeting deadlines
- Experience in liaising directly with clients would be an advantage
