Job description
Our client is a renowned foreign corporate bank. They are looking for someone to join as a ED / Director - Global Markets & Treasury - Fixed income Trading / Trader.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for trading key products such as HKD and CNH, and providing market-making services to customers to achieve essential financial targets.
- Conduct market analysis to develop and implement hedging strategies.
- Trade and manage positions in accordance with market-making obligations and risk limits.
- Collaborate with various teams and departments (sales, traders, management, risk control, back office, IT, etc.) to address issues and implement solutions.
- Optimize revenue generation and enhance client coverage by maintaining a clear understanding of client segments, activities, and industry trends.
- Share market intelligence and relevant regulatory, legal, and tax information with internal stakeholders and decision-makers.
Requirements
- Extensive direct experience in trading local HKD and CNH markets.
- Over 8 years of experience managing emerging market rates trading books, with a proven track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of fixed income products, specializing in interest rate swaps and cross-currency swaps (CCS).
- Demonstrated experience in developing strategies for trading and risk management.
- Proven ability to produce comprehensive trading insights and effectively present trading ideas and strategies.
- Less experienced candidates will be considered for the Vice President position.
