Head of Retail Credit Risk

Job description

• Develop and implement the bank's credit risk framework and policies.
• Monitor and assess credit risk exposure across retail banking products.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective risk management practices.
• Lead the credit risk assessment process, including credit scoring models and risk rating systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and present credit risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing credit risk team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a retail banking environment.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
