Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance - Fintech

Job description

​Our client is a highly regarded and internationally recognized Fintech firm with a strong presence in the global financial industry. They are now actively looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager in Regulatory Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory engagement for payments and remittance business, managing regulatory compliance workstreams

• Respond to regulatory inquiries and ensure licensing requirements are upheld

• Provide advisory solutions and identify/mitigate potential risk factors within the business

• Maintain and implement regulatory policies, with a focus on data protection and anti-money laundering matters

• Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments and advise management on potential implications

• Support applications and maintenance of required business licenses and permits

• Establish and manage an effective compliance program and control framework, including policies, procedures, and monitoring

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure overall regulatory compliance

• Liaise with stakeholders to support regulatory audits and assessments

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or the payments/financial services industry

• Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge, especially in payments and remittance, with an understanding of evolving industry regulations

• Knowledge of fintech, payment systems, and related legal/regulatory requirements

• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively navigate complex compliance matters

• Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
