Job description
Our client, a leading investment banking group, is looking for an Associate/AVP Control Room.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating watch lists and restricted lists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Developing and implementing Chinese Wall policies to prevent conflicts of interest.
- Conducting thorough conflict analyses to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Reviewing complex trades for compliance adherence.
- Providing compliance advisory support for M&A transactions.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for Control Room compliance-related initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or Accounting; a professional qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in control room compliance and research.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead initiatives effectively.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
- Proven ability to engage with various levels within the organization effectively.
