Job description
Our client is a foreign corporate bank, and they are seeking a VP of Credit Analysis and Control to oversee their corporate banking business.
Responsibilities
Credit Analysis
- Review the monitoring and credit applications prepared by Business Partner (BP) Officers, ensuring a thorough double-check after the BP Officer's initial review.
- Provide essential credit analysis and insights on customers and transactions to support Relationship Managers (RMs) in processing transactions. Attend BP Office regular meetings and relevant pipeline meetings whenever possible.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of companies and company groups.
- Offer consultation, advice, and guidance to the BP Office.
Credit Planning
- Develop, revise, or eliminate credit risk management frameworks in collaboration with the BP Office and other relevant departments.
- Assist the BP Office in identifying any signs of customer deterioration.
- Support the BP Office and the Credit Administration Team in managing credit costs.
- Conduct Management Discussion and Review Meetings (MDRM) in collaboration with the Global Credit Division
- Address other credit risk management issues, including handling external and internal audit matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience in Credit Analyst / Credit Analysis under Corporate in Hong Kong and China
- Certification as a Credit Risk Management Professional is preferred
- Accounting, financial analysis, and documentation
- Financial and business performance of key market players in Hong Kong and China
- General economic trends and market outlook
- General banking operations is preferred
