VP, China Research & Advisory (Asia Coverage) - Foreign Bank

Job description

• Provide contract-based professional advice to customers in establishing, modifying, and transforming their various business strategies and plans in China and ASEAN.
• Respond to business-related inquiries from customers.
• Provide the latest or ad-hoc business and investment news, along with updates on China and ASEAN policies and regulations for investments.
• Regularly liaise with government officials in China and ASEAN to obtain the most current information on nationwide government policies.
• Conduct research on trends in business development and the investment environment in China and ASEAN.
• Collect, compile, and distribute valuable market news and information about China and ASEAN to relevant departments.
• Support business promotion departments during customer visits or presentations related to investment matters in China and ASEAN.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any disciplines;
• 2 years advisory or research experience preferred;
• Fluent Putonghua, English and Japanese, with min. JLPT N1 and the ability to present in Japanese;
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.;
• Independent, responsible, supportive and communicative;
• Occasional business trips are required.
