Job description
Our client is a reputable financial institution with a strong presence in the banking industry. They are currently seeking a Manager, Trade Support to oversee the Trade Support function and play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of trades and related activities.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Trade Support team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of trades, corporate actions, and foreign exchange instructions, adhering to market deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies.
Investigate and resolve trade-related issues, working closely with fund managers and other stakeholders.
Update and maintain static data, ensuring accuracy and completeness for portfolio management purposes.
Reconcile trade and corporate action details, identify discrepancies, and take necessary actions to ensure timely settlement.
Collaborate with internal teams such as portfolio management, operations, and compliance to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on trade support activities, key metrics, and any operational risks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
Proven experience in trade support or a related role within the financial industry.
Strong understanding of trade processing, corporate actions, and FX transactions.
Managerial or team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance checks pertaining to trade support functions.
Proficiency in using relevant trade support systems and tools.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
